My Title Will Attract More Development To Asaba – Ugochukwu

ASABA – Ogbueshi Mordi Ugochukwu, the newly coronated Chief in Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area (LGA), has pledged to use his office as a chief to attract more development to his immediate community.

In an interview with newsmen in Asaba, Ogbueshi Mordi emphasised that his coronation as a Chief in Asaba would not be a mere ceremonial act that he would rather use the position to add extra values to the lives of the people.

While speaking on the importance of the cheiftancy title, he stated that it is important as an individual with vision to have such title.

“It is a great honor to be a recognised Chief in Asaba. It should be done by anyone who wants to beef up his career and have a good say on our tradition”.

He also urged youths with such aspirations to ensure they have a clean record to ensure they have no dents in their characters in attaining such heights in future.

“That it is my turn now does not mean it would not be the turn of another. It also should not mean the young ones should kill to get here as it is not a do or die affair” he asserted.
