ISIOKOLO – THE All Progressives Congress, APC candidate for Ethiope Federal Constituency, Olorogun Solomon Edojah has affirmed that he is still the candidate of the party ahead of the next Saturday’s national assembly elections.
Edojah, made his position known, Monday at Kokori in Ethiope East local government area of the state when members of the Edojah Campaign Team visited him to get feedback on the legal battle between him and an aspirant of the party.
Briefing the team on update of the case, the House of Representative hopeful explained that the case had been earlier adjourned to February 12 to hear a motion on late filing but was pulled back to February 11 in what he described as a manner that is worrisome.
Edojah said: “This situation is very worrisome, how can you suddenly push a case backward for hearing and then try to conclude it at the same time, however it is still in our place to fill an appeal on this worrisome verdict.
“But my lawyers are working to ensure that all everything is done according to the guidelines of the electoral law and I want to assure you that am still in the race and and am the candidate of the party.”
“Continue your campaigns and mobilization for the elections and victory is sure for us,” he added.
